A Little Thought About Aging and progress on my new project...

And with that, I delete my Battle Mage.

Now I like Battle Mages a lot, but sadly they are on the low end of the Magician's stick - as the job instructor Brighton says, "we're more like warriors", but they can't do a warrior's job(tank hits and do awesome DPS) that well, nor can they do a mage's job(stay back and blast things up) well either, so without a lot of funding - poor CJKeyblade didn't get the Frozen armor as I refused to burn him - Battle Mages stink. While his biggest accomplishment was actually reaching the final boss of Black Heaven's storyline and surviving to the final phase, he had to skip all of the mini-challenges(I couldn't destroy the boxes in the second Pulverizer segment fast enough) and got creamed into creamed beef by the dark spirit Lotus. So I decided to throw away my NX items and funding on him and start a new main on Scania...

Yep, a Dual Blade. Everyone on Youtube's Mapler channel network has mained a Dual Blade - even KraDeNine's recent videos showed him training a Dual Blade! - but Dual Blades can do more damage per second (DPS) than a Battle Mage could do in a minute.

Get to work, slave! (cracks whip)

Because of this, I had to spend this week's 2x EXP events (and some hot time coupons) to get all of my Link Mules to Level 70. (My Xenon was the last, he took forever to level up because his healing potions are sub-par - the best mana restorative he has is Carbonated Drink he got from Surl in Edelstein! :( ) I have also deleted my Bowmaster - the spots CJKeyblade and SicilyBigFan will vacate on their 'deaths' will be filled by two more link mules(I'm thinking a Cannoneer and a Kaiser for their stat boosts) to boost CJOathkeeper even more so he can get to Level 130 before next week when the second Freud Journal event starts.

Also, I will be moving to a new apartment at the end of the month(my dad promised to buy Disgaea 5 for me as compensation for cancelling the dog-sitting job - not like I mind, having to house sit for my sister Ruth's dogs for TEN DAYS is bad news bears) so I decided to spend my free time working on Platinum PS3 trophies as well as playing Wizard101, so my Mapler time will be shortened, but I plan on showing progress on my Dual Blade over the week. Ciao for now!

(I would like to dedicate this post to my mother, who has suffered several back injuries and is now in old lady walk status due to those back pains. I recalled a side-quest in Zero's Mirror World, in Mirror Ludibrium, where you helped a little girl try to grow up, and she decided to unlock the Clock Tower to make time flow again, and Alpha told her not to, saying "Your parents will get old and have back pains and then they'll DIE!" I've been crying for a while, thinking about the inevitable funeral I'll have to attend with my siblings... My parents had to cancel a trip they were planning because of those pains. I want anyone who is reading this to make a prayer to Patricia Groff and pray that her back gets better so she can enjoy the rest of her short life without pain. ;_;)
