Maple Union---er, I mean Legion

So I keep telling myself I will put Maplestory to bed and get back to Wizard101...


And then they do this! :9

Welcome to the Override Patch, which was called Beyond in the original Maplestory. It won't be updated until June 20, but it'll be a big update!

First off, remember those character cards?

Forget them. Nix them out of your mind!

Behold the Synergy Grid, a new type of upgrade system. It's inclusive to every character you have ever made so all of my characters on every server will get the benefit. Basically you put them on a special board and the more squares they occupy, the bigger the benefit. Called Maple Union on Korea MS, this removes Character Cards and Part-Time Jobs. I wonder how this will affect the Tot's Know How menu on the non-Reboot servers...

Also, the more characters you have on the Maple Legion Board, the higher your Maplestory Legion rank is and the more benefits all your characters will get! ^_^

This is a much needed fix - Character cards were either broken(+2100 HP for three SS cards) or worthless(-EXP loss upon death? Plz) and this completely balances everything.

Also, there will be raid you can send all of your characters who qualify for the Legion on against a passive enemy. Once it's defeated you get tons of coins for a special shop that trades in for very powerful stuff like coupons!

The Legion works this way: First off, Character Cards start with Level 30 characters. Not here, you have to be AWESOME to get into the Maple Legion. Only characters who have are at 3rd job(aka Level 60) are allowed into the Maple Legion and you cannot even get the benefits of Legion without having at least 500 levels of Maplestory alts in your game.

When a character hits 3rd job(Level 60), they are at the lowest rung, B Rank. At 4th job(Level 100) they hit A Rank. At Level 140(Commerci Level), they are S Rank, and when they get 5th job(aka Level 200) they are SS Rank. A max-level character(Level 250) is SSS Rank!

Once you get into the Legion, you're starting at Nameless Rank 1. As you add more alts into the Legion and get more levels of character in, you will get higher ranks until you hit Legendary Rank 5 with 10,000 levels of characters in your board! O_O

They are doing the pre-registration now so time for me to start leveling up my character with the Burning Events!
