El Nido Character #3 - Christ0pherL the Mihile

Mihile is on the bottom rung for my faves. After all, why make a character class based on one of the Cygnus instructors?! Also, I didn't care much about the Link skill or the skills he had, and he's gender locked so no female Mihiles! Still, I decided to try him at least one, like I did for Aran, and I needed a third Warrior anyways. Besides, I should always give a class the benefit of the doubt, right?

I'm TRYING to give it a chance, Nexon, but can you perhaps move the Rare Fire Flowers to somewhere SAFER?!? X(

All in all, I found this class boring. The story was amazing and gave a lot of backstory on one of the Ereve Instructors, the Dawn Warrior's instructor, but my GAWD, the battle mechanics were horriblr. While it's nice Mihile is the only class which can attack in mid-air, the jump slash of Soul Blade was clumsy and enemies can attack you from behind. Not fun. Here's hoping for a revamp.

 

 

The interesting thing is that you start the job advancement for second job at Level 28. Chrst0pherL did three battle tests - Tae Roon doesn't attack but you have to chew through 100,000 HP in 3 minutes so that's nerve-wracking, the other tests were easy-sauce - and he got Level 30 JUST as he turned in the last quest so Empress Cygnus herself gave him second job...

And he proceeded to wreck face. Well, Curbrock was a pain as your attacks aren't as great as you think - you get a rush attack which leaves you vunerable and a charge attack that requires you to be close to the enemies, but hey, it's better than the annoying jump slash. :p
