While the Explorers were the ones who created Maplestory, it was the Ereve Explorers, the Cygnus Knights, which made the game more interesting. The arrival of Ereve and the Cygnus Knights was an interesting twist and Empress Cygnus and her knights became a major player in Mapleworld.
They also got a big boost in popularity when their high-school anime counterparts appeared in the spin-off Friendstory, one of my FAVORITE side-stories in this game! ^_^
And thus, CJWrexx became a Nightwalker, the thief class. I wanted to explore all five Cygnus classes in Maplestory and I already have the two best - Thunder Breaker and Blaze Wizard - on Gallicia, so I had to go with the thief class as it was said to be pretty cool despite having no mobbing skills until third job.
After doing all the Henesys quests for Roca, CJWrexx just screwed it and used the Maple Guide to warp to Edelstein and trained there. There was a 2x EXP event going on so he took advantage of it. Even so, it took an hour to hit Level 30 - mainly because he was farming mobs for familiar cards.
When he hit Level 30, he went back to Ereve and took Eckhart's test, defeating the 30 Tiguru of Exam and getting to second job. Next time, another character will rise to Level 30! ^_^
